Medivet Croydon is hiring for a RVN to join this well-established, successful and newly refurbished practice in South London. a bright and welcoming reception area, with two spacious consult rooms, along with a theatre and prep room. The practice is conveniently situated within a 20-minute walk from East Croydon train station, offering direct rail access to central London in just 15-20 minutes. This role is full time working 40 hours per week with 1 in 5 full weekends at Beckenham 24hr. Salary up to £36,000 per year depending on experience. Role Accountabilities
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and co‑ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
