Overview
Night Veterinary Surgeon role at Medivet Hendon. Medivet 24 Hour Hendon is a busy, well-equipped hospital offering first opinion and referral-level care with advanced surgical and diagnostic tools.
As part of the Medivet group, we’re committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
- Provide exceptional care to clients, giving clear updates on patients.
- Deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
- Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
- Engage, mentor and develop the team, enhancing skills and utilising them effectively.
- Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of patients needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Proactively share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Qualifications and Experience
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
- Experience working effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
- Experience implementing a progressive clinical culture.
- Experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with understanding of impact on clinic performance and efficiency.
- Experience using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of colleagues.
