Are you a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2-3 years’ experience looking for a well-established practice where you can enjoy a varied caseload while continuing to develop your skills? We are looking for an enthusiastic GP Vet to join our friendly and experienced team in Canvey Island. This role would suit a vet who enjoys a good mix of consultations, surgery and diagnostics, and who is keen to build on their existing skills.

We actively support our vets to continue learning and progressing. There is the opportunity to work towards a certificate, with support for further clinical development. You will also have the opportunity to develop your surgical skills, including learning laparoscopic spays, alongside gaining experience with a broad range of diagnostic procedures.

A rota designed for work-life balance
We offer a 4-day working week, with a 1:6 full weekend rota. There is also a shared responsibility for out-of-hours on-call and Bank Holiday cover, which is provided through our 24-hour practice in Southend. As this is shared across the wider network, these shifts are rarely required, giving you a good balance between providing excellent patient care and enjoying your time away from work.
