Join our friendly, community‑focused team at Medivet Bracknell Easthampstead as our new Head Veterinary Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to help lead a supportive, close‑knit practice recognised for its compassionate care and strong client relationships.
As a Head Nurse you will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care to our clients, patients and colleagues while maintaining the highest standards of clinical, regulatory and operational compliance. With access to Medivet’s hub‑and‑spoke model, complex cases can be referred to our nearby 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham giving you access to advanced diagnostics, specialist teams, and a wider clinical network, modern equipment and clear development pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership skills and make a meaningful impact.
As part of Medivet’s hub‑and‑spoke model, you’ll also spend an 8‑hour shift in our 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham every fourth weekend, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays. You will also participate in the on‑call rota. This provides a valuable opportunity to experience a fast‑paced clinical environment, work alongside experienced hospital teams, and get hands‑on with more complex cases. It’s a great way to broaden your clinical skills, build confidence with advanced procedures, and continue your nursing career.

- Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse‑led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards

- Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
