As a Veterinary Surgeon at Woodstock 24-Hour Hospital, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and client service. You will work alongside a dedicated and experienced team committed to providing outstanding care for our patients, clients, and colleagues.
Woodstock 24-Hour Hospital is a modern, well‑equipped veterinary hospital and the central hub for the Oxford region. We provide high‑quality, honest veterinary care for pets day and night. Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, Woodstock is a picturesque town with excellent access to Oxford city centre. Our recently refurbished hospital includes facilities such as a CT scanner, digital radiography and laparoscopic equipment. Led by two long‑standing Branch Partners who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care and supporting their team, Woodstock 24‑Hour Hospital is proud of its collaborative, welcoming culture. This is a genuinely varied role with opportunities to develop skills and interests across multiple areas of practice. We have a range of positions available within the hospital, allowing us to consider candidates with different levels of experience and clinical interests. The caseload is diverse and rewarding, including:
- A high and varied surgical caseload from routine procedures to more complex surgical cases
- A busy consulting service with a loyal and long‑standing client base
- A significant number of referred and transferred cases from across the region

This is a 40 hour contract working 4 days, working 1:6 Full weekends, pro rota Bank Holiday and on call.
