Take the next step in your veterinary career and become a Partner today. Our unique model empowers ambitious vets to own their clinic while partnering with a company dedicated to their success. Our Partnership model mirrors the strengths of traditional partnerships, empowering you to become a practice owner by purchasing a percentage of the clinic’s equity. Each month, you’ll benefit from the clinic’s success as profits are distributed based on your ownership stake. As the clinic grows, so will your profits, but this is just half the story. We recognise that life evolves, and when it does, we are here to support you. Our model offers a flexible exit option, allowing you to sell your shares back to Medivet at a predefined multiple, providing a well-earned financial reward for the value you have created and a return on your initial investment.
How does it work?
- Discovery – Curious about becoming a Partner? Let's have a coffee chat! It’s a relaxed way to learn about the model and ask any questions. There’s no pressure, and we are here to help you discover what’s possible!
- Exploration - The next step is to explore your goals and find a clinic to match your vision. You'll visit our clinics, review their commercial data, and receive a clinic-specific valuation presented alongside a business plan. You’ll also attend an Insights Day at our Watford Support Centre, where you’ll learn about the support available and get a glimpse of life as a Branch Partner at Medivet.
- Completion – If you choose to proceed with Branch Partnership, the final step is the legal process. You’ll have time to review the contract and ask any questions. Once your start date is set, we’ll arrange a full onboarding and you’ll celebrate this exciting journey with an official signing at our Support Centre.
As a Branch Partner, you drive the growth and success of your clinic by delivering exceptional patient and client care. As the clinical leader, you inspire trust and loyalty, building strong relationships that expand your client base. Medivet supports your journey by managing non-clinical tasks, allowing you to focus on providing outstanding care and driving continuous growth. Partners enjoy all the benefits of clinic ownership but with the tailored operational support that allows them to focus on their priorities: their patients, clients and teams.
Field Support Teams
Your Operations Support Manager (OSM) is your primary contact for day-to-day clinic operations, serving as the link between the Support Centre and your clinic. They collaborate with you to build a clear plan for your practice and its growth. Acting as the fulcrum between you and the extensive back-office support, your OSM will be there to ensure that you can take a proactive approach to building your clinic and receive any reactive support when needed.
Back Office Support
Medivet’s expert teams in finance, procurement, HR, and more take away all the 'headaches' of running your own business. Partners enjoy the peace of mind that those non-clinical tasks are being taken care of by industry professionals, freeing them up to focus on the areas where they can add the most value to their patients, clients and teams.
Clinical Support
As a Partner, you maintain clinical control but benefit from guidance from our clinical team and a supportive network of experienced clinicians. Our dedicated Network Directors provide tailored support to drive clinical performance. You will have access to the full network of Medivet's Clinical Communities, as well as the supportive Partner community; there is a plethora of peer-to-peer clinical support available to Partners.
Hear from some of our Partners:
