In this role you will influence clinical standards, strengthen client trust, and support our partners and clinic teams by managing queries and issues with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coach and develop partners and clinic teams in communication skills, difficult conversations, and early‑resolution strategies.
- Promote a culture of reflective learning and contribute to training materials and workshops.
- Support consistent, fair clinical decision‑making across the network, ensuring patient welfare, clinical reasoning, and client experience are all considered.
- Collaborate with clinic and network teams to ensure all decisions and responses reflect Medivet's clinical standards, values, and governance expectations.
- Lead and support escalated clinical complaints.
- Provide balanced, evidence‑based clinical insight to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
- Support audits, uphold strong clinical governance, and maintain high‑quality documentation and professionalism.
- Analyse all data to identify trends, themes, and systemic risks.
- Work with Clinical Services, Operations, and other teams to develop preventative strategies, improve the client journey, and proactively highlight areas for improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon
- Strong clinical credibility and experience in small animal practice
- Demonstrable experience handling complex or escalated queries and complaints
- Ability to balance clinical objectivity with empathy and client perspective
- Strong influencing and coaching skills
- Excellent communication skills, including written responses to sensitive cases
- Experience in clinical governance, audit, or risk management would be advantageous
- Experience working across multi‑site veterinary groups is desirable
