The Opportunity

We are looking for a Full Time Maternity Cover Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our large team in our semi‑rural practice in the lovely scenic town of Leominster in Hereford.

You will be free to devote all of your time to looking after your clients and patients.

This role is working 40 hours per week with 1 in 5 Saturdays with no on call or bank holiday commitments.

  • In This Role You Will
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
  • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
  • Your Skills And Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
