An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Medivet Croydon. This is a small, welcoming practice with a loyal client base, where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with both clients and their pets while delivering exceptional standards of care.

Working alongside a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon and two skilled Veterinary Care Assistants, you'll play a key role in supporting the team clinically and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect. This is a varied role where you will utilise your nursing skillset, supporting medical and surgical cases, leading nurse consultations and clinics, carrying out Schedule 3 procedures, and providing gold-standard inpatient care.

We are looking for a nurse who enjoys taking ownership, is passionate about patient advocacy, and thrives as part of a collaborative team. As part of your rota, you will work 1 in 5 weekends at our well-equipped Beckenham 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital, giving you exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload while benefiting from the support of an experienced hospital team. You will also participate in the hospital's bank holiday and on-call rota.

Located in South London, Croydon offers excellent transport links into Central London while also being close to green spaces, cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities. About You

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
