Medivet Yateley is an established, community‑focused veterinary practice entering an exciting new chapter as a newly partnered practice. With a dedicated team, ongoing investment in modern facilities, and a rapidly growing client base, we’re building something special — and we’re looking for talented people who want to be part of that journey.

We’re looking for a motivated individual who is keen to develop their Schedule 3 skills and grow their clinical confidence. You’ll be fully supported in your professional interests, with opportunities for further training and even funded certificates to help you advance your career.

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in the clinical delivery of nurse‑led appointments, while also supporting the Veterinary Surgeon during procedures to ensure the highest standard of patient care. You’ll help us deliver exceptional service to our clients, patients, and colleagues, always maintaining outstanding levels of clinical, regulatory, and operational compliance.

With access to Medivet hub-and-spoke model, complex cases can be referred to our nearby 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham giving you access to advanced diagnostics, specialist teams, and a wider clinical network, modern equipment and clear development pathways. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and make a meaningful impact.

As part of Medivet hub‑and‑spoke model, you’ll also spend an 8‑hour shift in our 24‑hour hospital in Wokingham every fourth weekend, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays. You will also participate in the on-call rota. This provides a valuable opportunity to experience a fast‑paced clinical environment, work alongside experienced hospital teams, and get hands‑on with more complex cases. It’s a great way to broaden your clinical skills, build confidence with advanced procedures, and continue your nursing career.

If you’re an RVN who thrives on building meaningful client relationships, delivering gold‑standard nursing care, and being part of a supportive team, Medivet Yateley might be exactly what you’re looking for and we'd love to have you as part of our team.

Your career means more than a rota and a job title, that’s why we offer:

  • Health and wellbeing
  • Health Cash Plan from day one
  • 24/7 counselling and wellbeing support
  • Life Assurance 3 x salary
  • Annual leave: 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, rising with length of service
  • Extra ‘Day for You’, a paid day off just for you
  • Learning and development
  • £750 CPD allowance plus 2 days’ paid leave per year
  • Access to Clinical Communities, internal CPD and our 24-hour hospitals
  • Funded certificates and internal career pathways
  • Additional support
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • Cycle to Work
  • Season Ticket loans
  • Discounts on Medivet products and services
