We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to complete our team at Medivet Battersea, and we want to hear from you!

Medivet Battersea is a purpose-built practice situated in West London. A large, welcoming reception area managed by our dedicated client care team with three consult rooms. Back of house, we have a fantastic open plan layout, two very swish and modern theatres allowing our colleagues to observe procedures with ease, separate cat/dog waiting areas and kennels, providing the optimal environment for our patients during their visit.

We have everything we need to provide exceptional care including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, blood pressure machine, ECG, full-lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser. We see a mix of consult, inpatient and surgical cases including advanced surgeries, with access to endoscopy and advanced diagnostics including CT Imaging and VVS Station nearby at Medivet Camberwell 24-Hour.

You will be working within a great team, playing a crucial role as the sole RVN in practice. Our clients are dedicated to their pets and we are lucky enough to be able to work-up cases thoroughly! There’s opportunity for nurse consults and we will support you with training and internal CPD to build confidence and develop your consulting skills; we also have a bespoke nutritional ambassador programme!

To support your work-life balance, this role works to a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends. You’ll have a set day off each week, providing continuity to make plans and enjoy your extra free time!

About you: You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What you’ll be doing: Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
