We are Medivet Metheringham, a close‑knit, community‑focused veterinary practice in the heart of Metheringham, caring for pets across the local villages and the surrounding Lincolnshire area. We are looking for a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) who will support the nurse and the vets with in‑patient procedures and pet care, delivering exceptional care to our clients, patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client care and support surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Provide patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding.
- Collaborate within a supportive team, keeping the practice organised and clean.
- Assist the nurse and vets with in‑patient procedures.
- Work one Saturday in every four.
Qualifications
- Over 18 years of age (verification will be required).
- Experience or passion for caring for pets.
- Excellent client communication skills and a calm, flexible attitude under pressure.
- Team player willing to learn and make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
