Join at our well-established Horncastle practice, working alongside experienced Partner Dave Kenyon and a supportive regional clinical network. Unlike many roles in the wider Lincolnshire area where caseloads are fragmented or support is distant, this is a true first-opinion, continuity-focused practice where you’ll actually follow your cases and build lasting client relationships — not just pass them on.

We’re looking for a Vet with 3+ years’ experience, confident in routine consults and surgery, and comfortable with sole charge, but never left isolated thanks to strong regional and clinical backup. This is a role for someone who wants autonomy without being cut off, and support without micromanagement.

Why this stands out:
  • Real clinical freedom in a well-run, stable practice
  • No OOH rota
  • Strong partner-led leadership
  • Genuine continuity of care with a loyal, established client base

Horncastle itself offers proper work–life balance — a relaxed market town with easy links to Lincoln, Skegness and Boston, without the pressure or cost of city-based roles.

The role:
  • Full-time, 40 hours over 4 days (8:30am - 6:30pm)
  • 1:4 Saturdays (8:30am–12pm)
  • No out-of-hours
  • Flexible / part-time considered
  • Salary up to £75,000 DOE

If you’re looking for a step into a supportive, well-run practice where you can actually practise good veterinary medicine not just manage throughput this is it. Apply today to find out more.
