Medivet South Elmsall is a friendly and thriving small animal practice with a loyal client base and strong links to our fully equipped 24-hour hospital in Dearne Valley, just a 20-minute drive away. You'll be working alongside a close-knit and supportive team who are passionate about delivering exceptional care. With our collaborative culture and clinical development support, this is an excellent opportunity to continue growing your skills in a varied and rewarding environment.

We are open to considering a consult-focused Veterinary Surgeon with a medicine bias and minimal interest in surgery. We understand that every vet brings unique strengths, and we’re happy to tailor the role to suit your clinical interests.

Our well-appointed practice features:

  • Three consult rooms
  • Dedicated surgical theatre
  • X-ray and dental suites
  • Modern diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab with up-to-date analysers
  • Access to external laboratory services and clinical support when needed

We are offering:

  • A full-time role: 40 hours across 4 days per week
  • 1 in 6 weekend rota at our Dearne Valley 24-Hour Hospital
  • Flexibility to discuss part-time options—let’s find what works for you
  • Relocation package available for those moving from outside the UK or more than 60 miles within the UK
