We are seeking an RVN to join the team at Bracknell Easthampstead. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends at our Wokingham 24 hour hospital. The team at Bracknell Easthampstead is run by experienced Vet Surgeon Ben who has a certificate in Ophthalmology and has been with Medivet for over 20 years. Our team also includes Emma our HRVN who has been with Medivet for 9 years, Bethany our newly qualified RVN who has been with Medivet for 5 years, Courtney our Veterinary Care Assistant who has been with Medivet for over 7 years and our newly appointed receptionists Zoe and Ella. The practice is overseen by our wonderful Practice Manager Lynn who has been with Medivet for 15 years. So much experience in our team who are dedicated to our loyal and devoted client base.
The practice has 3 consults rooms, 2 theatres, dental x-ray and ultrasound. Plus all the eye equipment for Ben to do what he does best. With parking available, lovely large reception area, separate cat and dog wards including a large walk in dog kennel.
As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

Role Accountabilities:

- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
