We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is a Clinical Coach to work within our Northallerton practice. Northallerton will be led by our soon to be joining us Lead Vet along with our wonderful and experienced support staff. Our practice is equipped with Dentistry, ultrasound, digital X-ray, ECG and in-house laboratory.
We are offering 34.5 hours per week over a Monday (08:00 - 18:30), Wednesday (08:30 - 14:30), Thursday (08:00 - 18:30) and Friday (08:00 - 18:30), plus 1 in 6 full weekends and 2 Bank Holidays per year at Thirsk 24-Hour Hospital. - Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
