Our Barnes White Hart Lane practice is a modern, first‑opinion small animal clinic, designed to support a range of clinical interests. With two bright consultation rooms, a spacious reception area, separate dental and surgical suites, digital and dental radiography, in‑house lab facilities, and dedicated cat and dog wards, we are fully equipped to deliver outstanding patient care. Advanced anaesthetic and monitoring systems further ensure safety and confidence in every procedure.
This branch is led by a Branch Partner, creating the perfect balance between the robust support of the wider Medivet group and the autonomy of a locally invested leader.
You’ll be joining a team of experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses and friendly, knowledgeable Veterinary Receptionists, all working together in a positive and collaborative culture.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:
- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Lead, manage and promote nurse led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Inspire your team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.
- Engage, coach and develop your team.
- Pro‑actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Able to confidently lead a clinical team.
- Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
