Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client phone calls and visits, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients, and colleagues.
- Carry out reception duties: greet clients and update records.
- Triage the impact of emergency appointments, contact clients, and rearrange as needed.
- Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability to team skillset.
- Answer client phone calls, manage messages, and ensure appointment slots are available for online booking.
- Process repeat prescription order requests.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Skill in providing exceptional client‑facing care with excellent reception skills.
- Good numeracy skills and experience using online appointment booking systems.
- Team player who can prioritise, remain calm under pressure, and is flexible and willing to learn.
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable.
