The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join one of Australia’s most respected technology and telecommunications providers as a Client Director responsible for driving strategic growth across NSW.

In this role you will own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise customers while leading the acquisition of new strategic logos. You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives, aligning Macquarie Telecom’s cloud, data, mobility and voice solutions to their most critical business and technology priorities. This is a high-impact, high-visibility sales role suited to a commercially driven enterprise seller who thrives on winning new business, building deep customer relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.

What you will do!

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise customers, developing long-term strategic relationships.
  • Identify, pursue and win new enterprise customers, expanding Macquarie Telecom’s footprint in the NSW market.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities through proactive business development.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, partnering with Solution Architects, SMEs and Sales Leadership to develop compelling customer solutions.
  • Sell across a broad portfolio including Cloud, Data Networks, WAN, Voice, Mobility and Converged solutions.
  • Build executive-level relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs and senior technology leaders.
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximise account growth and long-term customer value.

What you will bring!

  • Significant enterprise sales or strategic account management experience, ideally within telecommunications, cloud or managed services.
  • A proven track record of winning and growing major enterprise accounts.
  • Strong new business development capability with the drive and resilience to open new doors.
  • The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including CIOs and C-suite executives.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions, such as IP networks, cloud, mobility or voice platforms.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, MEDDICC or TAS.
  • A commercially driven, highly motivated mindset with a passion for delivering customer outcomes.
