We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Aftermarket Parts team. In this new position you will use your strong technical acumen, and engineering understanding, to interpret complex process requirements for small parts such as valves and gauges within flare systems and associated ancillary equipment. You will play a key part in evaluating customer engineering packages, and produce high quality technical and commercial proposals, as well as supporting the full tendering process. This position also contributes to the development of proposal tools and supports continuous improvement across the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer RFQ engineering packages and interpret detailed design specifications, codes, and practices.
  • Design, specify, and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals tailored to each application.
  • Provide technical guidance and risk assessment support for customer applications.
  • Generate accurate job cost estimates aligned with customer specifications, engineering guidelines, and country compliance requirements.
  • Set product pricing in accordance with established mark up and commission structures.
  • Prepare, review, and submit formal proposals within required deadlines.
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers throughout the tender phase, addressing technical and commercial clarifications.
  • Support final technical and commercial negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes for Zeeco.
  • Prepare clear and complete handover packages for internal project teams, defining scope, specifications, and budget.
  • Provide regular status reports to management on proposal activity.
  • Assist in developing and improving quoting tools, sales presentations, and documentation using MS Office and web based systems.
  • Collaborate with management to identify skill and tool enhancements for improved performance.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the Zeeco Quality System in line with ISO9001:2015.
  • Promote and adhere to company Health and Safety policies.
