The predicted salary is between 30 - 32 Β£ per hour.
Assist doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures such as sonohysterogram, hysteroscopy, and endometrial biopsy. Provide optimum patient-centered care and demonstrate a professional manner in the work setting. Report, review, and record findings of ultrasound scans to provide accurate patient diagnosis. Consult with physicians as needed about ultrasound results. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment through participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests. Perform and assess ultrasound examinations (Transabdominal and Transvaginal) for infertility patients, 1st-trimester pregnancy evaluation, endovaginal scan, follicular monitoring, obstetrical scanning (early pregnancy), and pelvic ultrasound for gynecology patients. Actively participate in team building concepts and development of departmental goals. Work independently without supervision. Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
- Completion of an accredited degree/post-diploma Ultrasound program or recognised equivalent preferred.
- CMRITO certified.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning, sonohysterograms, endovaginal scans, follicular monitoring, early pregnancy obstetric scanning, and pelvic ultrasounds for gynecological patients.
- Good judgment to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team.
- Strong technical skills and image quality.
- Effective time management skills, ability to organise work, and set priorities.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and recognition skills.
