About the role
Are you a proven Deputy Manager in a children\βs residential home, ready to take the next step into Registered Management? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive provider and help lead the opening of a brand-new 3-bed EBD children\βs home in Waltham Cross.
From the outset, you will work as Deputy Manager while preparing to register with Ofsted. With the guidance and support of a highly experienced Responsible Individual, you will then transition into the Registered Manager role, taking full responsibility for the home.
What We Offer
- Β£48,000 starting salary if you have not yet achieved the Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
- Β£50,000+ per annum if you hold the Level 5 qualification, plus performance-related bonuses
- Full support to achieve Level 5 if required
- A clear progression pathway from Deputy Manager to Registered Manager, with structured mentoring from a highly experienced Responsible Individual

- On-call duties only 1 in 6 weeks β part of our strong commitment to staff wellbeing and ensuring our managers are supported and protected from burnout
Ideal Candidate
- Currently working as a Deputy Manager in a children\βs residential care setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children\βs residential care standards
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent outcomes for young people
- Holds the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Working towards or already holding the Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (already achieved = higher salary & bonuses)
- Prepared to complete Ofsted registration (essential requirement) with the goal of becoming the Registered Manager
