This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a new team from the very beginning, helping to create the home's culture, routines, and values in an environment designed entirely around children's wellbeing, safety, and emotional recovery.

Current Opportunity

Deputy Home Manager

Salary: £38,840 - £40,000 per year (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in leading and developing the home
  • Mentor, guide, and inspire a newly forming staff team
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and compliance
  • Champion trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to care
  • Lead on staff supervision, training, and professional development
  • Promote emotional safety, consistency, and stability for all children

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards) desirable
  • Significant experience within children's residential care
  • Reflective, confident, and compassionate leadership style
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes

We also welcome experienced professionals who may not yet hold formal qualifications but can demonstrate genuine skill, commitment, and alignment with our values.

Our Ascot service offers a calm, nurturing, and therapeutic home environment for children aged 8-18 with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. Our home includes:
