As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for marketing and selling our cutting-edge enterprise patient record solutions and services to C-suite, boards, clinicians and nurse leadership, and other senior healthcare leaders at NHS Trusts.
Ultimately operating under the direction of the Managing Director and US Regional Sales Director with a focus at the following levels: C-suite, Clinician, Clinical Nursing, Financial leadership. Sales Consultants maintain close relationships with all key stakeholders, helping to foster and cultivate opportunities for selling and strengthening partnerships with MEDITECH.
Knowledge, experience and skills required:
- Bachelor's degree required, along with 3-5 years of applicable direct sales or sales engineer experience
- Experience working within the NHS but not limited to NHS Trusts
- Proven, consistent ability to deliver a strong performance (e.g., procurement leadership, signed contracts)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, targets, and booking goals as defined
- Passion for and understanding of healthcare industry initiatives and NHS practices
Main duties:
- Selling MEDITECH's standard solutions and services
- Creating and following the blueprint for successful C-suite customer engagement, including sales standard benchmarks, annual strategic presentations to sites, consistent alignment of goals, cultivation of relationships, and keen awareness around any organisational change or shifts in dynamics
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and perspective on healthcare, NHS initiatives, and technology industry issues and trends, specifically those impacting hospitals, ICS/ICB, and NHS Trusts
- Possessing a capacity to effectively deliver strategic MEDITECH presentations and overviews to senior-level audiences at customer and prospect organisations
- Ongoing utilisation of sales tools/documents to maintain accurate, timely, standardised account profiles and documented sales opportunities
- Attending approved trade shows and regularly scheduled internal sales meetings and educational sessions
- Coordinating, staging, and engaging in the effective demonstrations of MEDITECH software solutions
- Covering assigned territories, and traveling 50% of the time
