We’re looking for an inspirational Patient Dining Manager/ Unit Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding food and service at the heart of the hospital experience. You’ll take full ownership of patient dining and staff feeding services, ensuring exceptional food quality, service standards and patient experience every single day. Leading from the front, you’ll motivate and develop your team, build strong client partnerships, and drive continuous improvement — always putting patients first.
What you’ll do
- Champion exceptional patient dining, delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals for patients, staff and visitors
- Lead, coach and inspire your team to consistently deliver outstanding food and service
- Proactively monitor standards, implement improvements and exceed contract expectations
- Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and act on patient feedback and PX insights
- Manage budgets, stock, waste, KPIs and SLAs to achieve strong commercial results
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety and audit requirements

- An experienced catering manager with a passion for patient and customer experience
- A confident leader who sets the standard, develops others and leads with integrity
- Commercially astute, organised and comfortable managing cost controls and performance
- Calm under pressure, adaptable and solutions‑focused
- A strong communicator who enjoys working in partnership with clients and clinical teams
What you’ll bring
