About the Role:

Nottingham City Council is looking for HGV drivers to work across different services within Resident Services. You will be responsible for the day to day operations and safety of a small team providing a full range of refuse, recycling and cleansing duties throughout the City in order to maintain the environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Class 2 LGV Driving Licence
  • Experience/knowledge of the safe operation and driving vehicles such as refuse collection vehicles, gritters and mainline sweepers
  • Be able to work flexible hours on an annualised hours basis. Between 37-45 hours across numerous working patterns (shorter or longer hours throughout different days/weeks)
  • Full CPC
