What you\’ll be doing:
- Provide ex-operator knowledge to assess and analyze system designs, diagrams, and data to ensure technical accuracy, process instruction correctness, and input for maintenance derivation outputs.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to others.
- Understand and apply the Quality and SH&E Management System documentation.
- Support stakeholder engagement and attend collaboration working groups supporting BAES\’s scope of work for maintenance design.
- Estimate the scope of work and resources needed to support bids, proposals, and project planning activities for maintenance design.
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials:
- Background as a submarine nuclear operator/maintainer.
- Ability to analyze complex problems.
- Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle and support activities, with experience in multiple lifecycle phases.
- Extensive domain knowledge of ship systems and their relation to ILS and safety.
Desirables:
- Knowledge of relevant MoD, industry, and corporate standards.
