Apprenticeship – Business Administration Level 3 with HTP

Contract –Fixed term for 21 months

Solent Growth Partnership is a collaboration between Isle of Wight, Portsmouth City and Southampton City Councils We work collaboratively to deliver innovative business support and training solutions and help businesses across the Solent to grow, develop and succeed.

Our services include the Growth Hub, Skills Bootcamps and many other business focused initiatives.

Your New Role

Are you looking to build a career in administration while supporting the delivery of Skills Bootcamps? As our Skills Bootcamp Apprentice, you\’ll play a key role in helping the Solent Growth Partnership deliver high-quality services across the region. Based at the Civic Offices in Portsmouth, with some home working and travel across the Solent, you\’ll support the administration of the Skills Bootcamp Programme-tracking project progress, managing data submissions, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You\’ll be involved in everything from preparing reports and coordinating meetings to supporting compliance checks and promoting opportunities to learners and businesses. If you\’re organised, with good attention to detail, and eager to contribute to a team making a difference, we\’d love to hear from you.

What you\’ll need to succeed

Regardless of your age, previous experience or qualifications (although you must be at least 16 years of age and not in full-time education), we welcome applications from those that show potential, determination and a drive to succeed.

You will be someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in working in the skills sector. You will have a professional and friendly approach as you will be engaging with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

You will have good organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise your workload and seek support when needed. You will have good English and maths skills, along with a flexible attitude and a readiness to adapt to new challenges. If you\’re eager to grow your skills in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
