At Bromford, we believe that health and safety is more than just compliance - it’s a critical enabler of everything we do. Whether it’s protecting our colleagues, ensuring the wellbeing of our customers, or supporting safe, sustainable operations, safety underpins our success.

We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced senior health and safety advisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering our vision of a workplace where safety is prioritised without ever becoming a barrier to progress. You’ll be the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all matters relating to health and safety across our investment teams. You’ll partner with leaders and teams at every level of the business, embedding safe practices and a strong safety culture into everyday operations.

From conducting audits and inspections to supporting incident investigations and ensuring contractor compliance, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our safety framework. You’ll also lead the way in coaching and empowering colleagues, helping them to build confidence and capability in managing their own health and safety responsibilities.

We’re looking for someone who is as strategic as they are hands-on - someone who can balance regulatory compliance with the practical realities of a fast-moving housing organisation. You’ll need to be confident working with data, able to translate legal and technical requirements into clear, actionable insights, and thrive on building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Your expertise will directly support our commitment to maintaining our 5 star British Safety Council best practice accreditation and driving continuous improvement in our safety standards. This is a permanent, full-time role with flexibility in where you’re based - you can work from our offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, or Wolverhampton. You’ll need to travel regularly across our wider geography as part of the role. Regular home working is available.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in a similar health and safety role
  • A NEBOSH diploma (or equivalent)
  • IOSH membership with evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
  • ISO45001 lead auditor qualification desirable
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead in a dynamic environment
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across our operational areas
  • Ability to complete a basic DBS check

The closing date is 8 June. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and join a team that puts people and purpose first, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape a safer, more confident future at Bromford.
