We are seeking a dedicated Response and Locality Delivery Coordinator to take charge of the Refugees, Resettlement & Migration Service (RRMS) volunteer scheme.
This important role will involve guiding and nurturing the growth of our volunteers, building strong partnerships, and focusing on improving their experience and the positive contributions they make within our community.

Salary: £38,626 to £41,511 per annum and entitlement to Crawley Weighting Allowance: £561 per annum.
Contract Type: Fixed term contract for 12 months. Final start and end date will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Location: Your base location will Crawley with required countywide travel.

This role requires the successful candidate to travel independently to various venues, council locations, and family homes across the County, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport.
Regular attendance at your base location will also be necessary, and there will be opportunities for remote work. Final arrangements will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
This is essential for working closely with colleagues and families, offering them the vital face-to-face support they deserve.

In this role, you will oversee a county-wide partnership volunteer programme, crafting and executing a dedicated plan that works closely with our existing volunteers and actively seeks out new partnerships.
Your efforts will be vital in fostering the integration and support of our families, making a real difference in their lives.
Our work in the Refugees, Resettlement & Migration Service brings a unique experience each day, filled with unexpected challenges and rewards! There are several key responsibilities that are likely to be integral to this role, including:
- Collaborate across the wider service to understand the ongoing needs of families, ensuring the programme aligns with service requirements.
- Take responsibility for managing the practical aspects of the scheme, including policies, procedures, resources, and expenses.
- Coordinate and deliver relevant training for volunteers and ensure that all community activities and events are developed and conducted in accordance with health and safety guidelines, is fully compliant, and adheres to the appropriate governance processes.
- Responsible for the daily management of the programme throughout West Sussex and for maintaining relationships with partners, including securing resources to support effective community engagement.
- To monitor, analyse, and generate accurate reports on volunteer data, as well as on any initiatives and projects aimed at developing this aspect of our business.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced theoretical, practical, and procedural knowledge within the specialist area, including an understanding of the principles, policies, and practices related to Refugee, Resettlement, and Migrated families.
- Experience in applying specialist knowledge, offering expert advice, and collaborating effectively with other agencies.
- Experience in preparing comprehensive documents and reports to inform others.
- Evidence of contributing to the delivery of a professional service while engaging efficiently and sensitively with a diverse range of clients.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and effective management and coordination skills, capable of guiding teams with clearly defined responsibilities, accountability, and success metrics.
- Self-motivated and skilled at inspiring others to successfully deliver projects.
- Excellent customer service skills and enjoys working with volunteers in a face-to-face environment.
