The job itself
The Information Governance and Feedback Team are seeking an Information Governance and Feedback Assistant to join a well-established team within Legal and Democratic Services. The post holder will assist in the coordination of the Council\'s corporate Feedback system, ensuring the delivery of the Complaint and Feedback Policy. They will also support ongoing compliance with Data Protection legislation.
The role involves delivering subject access requests, Freedom of Information requests, handling data protection incidents, and providing advice to staff and customers. The post holder will be involved with wider Governance arrangements across the Council to help ensure compliance with statutory obligations, monitoring, and reporting.
This role requires working to legislative and statutory deadlines. It also involves reviewing and redacting sensitive information, which may include offensive incidents or social care data.
