Location: Aberdeen Art Gallery & Cowdray Hall
Duration: Permanent, Part Time 21 hours

About the role:
The Formal Learning Officer is a key member of the Public Programmes team at Aberdeen Archives, Gallery & Museums (AAGM). This role is responsible for the development and delivery of inclusive, inspiring, and curriculum-aligned learning experiences for school groups, educators, and learners of all ages. Through engagement initiatives across AAGM venues, the Formal Learning Officer supports AAGM\’s service priorities to make arts, culture, and heritage accessible, relevant, and meaningful to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Qualification at degree level in a subject related to AAGM collections, Education or Museum Studies
  • A full CRB check will be required

Responsibilities

At least one of the subject areas covered by AAGM Collections

Working with children, young people and learners in an interpretation or educational role within the arts, cultural or museums sector
