We are seeking to recruit a further Emotional Literacy Support Assistant to work within our agency to support expanding Pastoral teams in Leicester City. The role will entail working closely with the Pastoral team to ensure students' social, emotional, and mental health needs are supported to enable them to access their learning.

You will work with individual and small groups of students focusing on areas such as friendships, resilience, loss and bereavement, anger management, and stress. Working as a frontline member of the Pastoral team, you will need to have the skills and resilience to support students who may be experiencing difficulties in accessing their learning and managing their behaviour. The successful candidate will be able to use de-escalation techniques to maintain and manage positive relationships.
