Post Title: Community Works Operative 3 (Waste)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Β£26,243 β Β£26,974 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team, and to carry out all duties involved with food waste collection, refuse collection, Household Waste Recycling Centre, dog fouling collection, bulky uplifts, road carcass uplift and removal, bin deliveries, fly tipping removal, landfill or transfer stations, and street scene management. The job will also include manual lifting, client facing, working alone or as part of a crew/team. The work required is highly visible to our communities and must meet Highland Council Standards as set by the local Waste Management Officer and Foreperson and/or the community.
