Job Description
Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council\'s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment. PVG records are constantly updated; relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at William McIllvanney Campus. The available posts are:
- 12.50 hours/week: Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm - 5:45 pm
- 14.50 hours/week: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am - 9:00 am, and Friday, 6:00 am - 8:30 am
The hourly rate is £12.96. The position is temporary until June 26, 2026.
