We are looking for an engaging and supportive Assistant Swimming Teacher to join our team to help create exceptional experiences for our learners. You will support our Level 2 Swimming Teachers delivering lessons for Chorley Leisure Limited. You will possess either a Swim England (SE) Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) or Swimming Teachers Association (STA) Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming.

What you will be getting up to:

  • As an ambassador for Chorley Leisure Ltd, you will support the Level 2 Swimming Teachers with the preparation and delivery of lessons from in the water to help build water confidence, develop strokes and aquatic skills for all members of the programme, whilst ensuring a safe environment is maintained.
  • You will provide relevant teaching points to swimmers to support their development.
  • You will be a role model and ambassador for all swimmers whilst ensuring they receive quality swimming lessons and have a positive experience.

Who we are looking for:

  • You will be able to work well in a team and be able to follow company policy and procedures.
  • You will have good technical knowledge and the ability to display accurate in water demonstrations.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with all swimmers and have the ability to manage and motivate them effectively.

Other requirements:

Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check (applied and paid for by the Council). As a part of team Chorley, you will have free use of all our gym/swimming facilities.
