We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team and help people of all ages build confidence, skills and enjoyment in the water. Working within Swim England's Learn to Swim framework, you'll play a vital role in creating safe, fun and high quality swimming lessons for both our Learn to Swim programme and Key Stage 1 & 2 school sessions.
Whether teaching small groups of beginners or larger school classes, you'll be inspiring the next generation of swimmers and supporting their progress every step of the way.
What you'll be getting up to:
- Deliver engaging swimming lessons aligned with the Swim England Learn to Swim criteria and National Curriculum requirements for Key Stage 1 & 2.
- Teach pupils of all ages and abilities, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.
- Plan, prepare and deliver structured, progressive lesson plans across a range of ability groups.
- Assess each swimmer's progress, providing constructive feedback and encouraging development.
- Create a safe, enjoyable and motivational learning environment by acting as a positive, enthusiastic role model.
