We are looking to recruit two Casual Leisure Officers to join our friendly and committed team at Leyland Leisure Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of high quality community leisure services and to play a vital role in ensuring our customers enjoy a safe, welcoming and positive experience every time they visit.
What you’ll be getting up to:
- Providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to all customers
- Supervising the pool and leisure facilities to ensure customer safety at all times
- Monitoring customer behaviour, enforcing pool regulations and water safety policies
- Responding to emergencies in line with the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and Pool Safety Operating Procedures (PSOP), including administering first aid and rescue when required
- Supporting Duty Managers with health and safety monitoring and operational checks

- Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proactive approach to health and safety
- Calm and professional when responding to customer enquiries or issues
- Enjoy working with members of the public in a busy leisure environment
- Hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
