Are you passionate about supporting early years education? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Banbury area. This role focuses on supporting children in a nursery setting, but there could be flexibility to work with other year groups if you are the right fit for the school and you would be suited to a different age group.
About the Role- Provide nurturing support to children in the nursery class during morning sessions.
- Assist with play-based learning activities and early years development.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for young learners.
- Support the class teacher and work collaboratively with the wider team.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner or Childcare qualification.
- CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ in Childcare, or equivalent.
- Experience working in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child development principles.
- Warm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Teaching Assistant, or similar role.
- Long-term stability for Terms 5 and 6.
- Competitive daily rate (£88.92 - £110) based on experience.
