Mediq UK are now recruiting for Reach Truck Driver to join our AM shift. In this role you will be required to replenish and pick stock to complete orders. You may need to assist with loading vehicles and other warehouse duties as required.
Responsibilities:
- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant methodical approach to work.
- Work at a pace that matches the legislation and Mediq EHS policies.
- Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Pick goods accurately and build pallets in a way that protects personal safety, the safety of the driver in transit and when delivering and ensures the integrity of the product.
- Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
- Assist in stock checking routines as requested.
- Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Share information and resources with others as required.
- Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role.
- Use of initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times.
