We are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our site in Castle Donington on our Inbound shift.
Hours: 6am – 2.30pm
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Depending on Experience
In this role you will ensure that day to day operations are completed accurately in accordance with specific customer requirements/company policies and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant methodical approach to work.
- Supervise operational processes to ensure that all customer orders are dispatched correctly, via scheduling people and equipment to optimise efficiency.
- Plan workloads to ensure that goods are stored, picked, processed and loaded onto vehicles in accordance with Company stipulated KPI’s.
- Motivate team to perform to the required productivity levels through effective communication, coaching, encouragement and team building measures.
- Monitor and manage own time to ensure daily objectives are met.
- Develop and improve procedures in agreement with line manager.
- Accept additional challenges and responsibilities willingly and assist others.
- Effectively manage and coach staff within the team to achieve high standards.
- Monitor and record accuracy levels from shift inbound and outbound activities, liaise with Managers on errors and issues arising from pick errors.
- Organise and supervise offloading and put away of all goods in.
- Supervise the loading of vehicles in sequence as directed by Driver Load Sheets.
- Record pick/sort or pack line statistics individually and collectively.
- Redeploy staff to other duties where spare time is allotted against shift.
- Reduce discrepancies and pick errors through analysis of Sage.
- Investigate customer complaints, collating all required supporting documentation, in conjunction with Line Manager.
- Ensure stock replenishments are carried out in a timely fashion in line with company process.
- Initiate and manage projects to improve operations.
