We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Intern to join our commercial team on a 12 month contract based at our UK HQ in Castle Donington. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in sales, business development, and customer engagement within a fast‑paced, professional environment. The successful candidate will support the sales organisation with prospecting, market research, administrative tasks, data analysis, and customer interactions, contributing directly to revenue growth initiatives.
Salary: £25,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with day‑to‑day activities, including preparing proposals, presentations, and customer documentation.
- Research potential clients, identify new business opportunities, and support outreach campaigns.
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in the CRM system, ensuring records are up‑to‑date.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategic planning.
- Participate in customer calls and meetings alongside senior sales staff to gain exposure to client‑facing interactions.
- Support the preparation of sales reports, performance dashboards, and pipeline summaries.
- Assist in planning and executing sales events, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to support business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
