Mediq UK is a supplier of healthcare consumables, equipment and hygiene products to hospitals, care homes and other facilities in the UK. We are recruiting a Class 2 driver to join our transport team in Melksham.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the company vehicle is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting checks and reporting faults.
- Assist in loading orders onto the vehicle, ensuring payload limits and axle weights are not exceeded and goods are safely secured.
- Carry out duties within legal requirements and the Company Operators Licence.
- Complete all scheduled deliveries on time, using route planning tools.
- Deliver to customers as directed, assist with unloading, and deliver to final points as requested.
- Report problems with delivery sites.
- Maintain correct POD paperwork, collect and account for cash payments at the branch.
- Communicate customer problems and sales opportunities to the branch sales team promptly.
- Present a professional image, be courteous, and comply with dress requirements.
- Report any accidents immediately.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience as a 7.5 t driver or similar is advantageous.
