Mediq UK are a supplier of healthcare consumables, healthcare equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and other facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail‑oriented Marketing Intern to join our marketing team on a 12 month contract based at our UK HQ in Castle Donington. This role offers hands‑on experience across digital marketing, content creation, brand development, and campaign execution. The successful candidate will support the team in delivering impactful campaigns that enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and support commercial growth.

Salary - £25,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Content & Digital Marketing
    • Support the creation of marketing content including social media posts, blog articles, email campaigns, and presentations.
    • Assist with managing and updating the company’s website and social media channels.
    • Track digital performance metrics and compile reports on engagement, reach, and campaign impact.
  • Campaign Support
    • Assist in planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
    • Help coordinate promotional activities, events, and product launches.
    • Work with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across touchpoints.
  • Market & Customer Insight
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
    • Help analyse customer data and behaviour to support targeted marketing efforts.
    • Prepare summaries and insights to support campaign planning and decision‑making.
  • Brand & Creative
    • Collaborate on the development of marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, and sales collateral.
    • Provide input into creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
  • General Support
    • Assist with administrative tasks, project coordination, and team organisation.
    • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to support cross‑functional initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word etc.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
