Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced band 5 Histology Dissection Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our client's laboratory based in London. This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to £19 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens.
- Familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.
- Microtomy, Special Stains and experience working in a Histopathology Laboratory.
- Be able to cut 25-35 Blocks per hour.
