Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a Decontamination Driver to support a busy healthcare service in Surrey during a short-term assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of medical equipment and materials requiring decontamination, ensuring all items are handled in line with NHS infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver equipment and materials to and from hospital departments and decontamination units.
- Follow all infection prevention and control procedures when handling items.
- Maintain accurate logs of all collections, deliveries, and vehicle checks.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any faults promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and onsite teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
