The successful candidate will work in the Compliance & AML unit at Mediobanca in London, whose primary responsibility is to ensure the London branch’s compliance with UK rules and regulations. The unit advises London‑based business lines, implements policies and procedures, maintains dialogue with local regulators, trains local staff on regulatory matters and administers Mediobanca’s Compliance & AML monitoring programme for the London Branch. The candidate will report to the Head of UK Compliance & MLRO and will be available to support the unit in all its activities.
- Performing Compliance & AML control activities (may require data analysis)
- Monitoring UK regulations on Compliance & AML matters
- Implementing risk assessments (e.g., market abuse, AML & CTF, fraud)
- Designing education sessions and related material
- Dealing with UK Regulators
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics or Law (preferred)
- Excellent proficiency in both Italian and English
- Strong ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Genuine interest in financial markets and related regulations
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
