Pre-Op Assessment Nurse (Weekend Insourcing)

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Pre-Op Assessment Nurses to join our team in Essex. This role involves supporting weekend insourcing lists, ensuring patients are thoroughly assessed and prepared for their upcoming surgeries., * Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments for patients scheduled for surgery.

• Review patient medical histories, current medications, and any potential risks.

• Perform necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results.

• Provide clear and concise information to patients about their surgical procedures and pre-operative instructions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

• Adhere to NHS policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.

• Previous experience in pre-operative assessment or surgical nursing.

• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work weekend shifts.
