We are seeking experienced Dermatology Consultants to support outpatient activity within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. This role focuses on adult routine dermatology clinics and offers regular weekend working.
Role Requirements
- GMC registered Consultant Dermatologist with a licence to practise
- Experience delivering adult outpatient dermatology clinics
- Ability to manage routine and general dermatology caseloads
- Confident managing clinics with approximately 26 patients per session using 20 minute appointment slots
- Competent in assessing, diagnosing, and managing new dermatology patients, with follow-up care incorporated as required
- Willing and able to work weekend clinics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to review and action investigation results, in line with Trust processes
- Completion of Trust IT induction and mandatory training, including attendance at a face-to-face (or virtual) IT appointment
- Compliance with Trust policies, clinical governance, and information governance requirements
Essential Qualifications
- GMC Specialist Registered
- Current UK professional registration
