Production Shift Manager – AM
Medik8, Aylesbury, United Kingdom
Role: Production Shift Manager – AM
Reports to: Production Manager
Shift: AM (6:00am – 2:30pm)
Overview: Drive improvement in the production environment through analytics and attention to detail. Ensure protocols are adhered to, perform verification checks, raise standards, and foster collaboration between Production and Quality teams to progress the business.
Responsibilities
- Process: Perform verification of the checks within the department; develop the current checking system through experience and dynamic assessment; analyze data, communicate findings effectively, drive change, and ensure standards are raised; work with line manager and peers to measure progress and provide necessary support; maintain a constant GMP environment within the team and area.
Management
- Day-to-day management of the team; achieve and improve KPI targets; act as a champion for improvement; develop and maintain training plans for individuals; support the Production Manager in building team effectiveness; foster Health & Safety awareness, GMP, high quality standards, and good housekeeping; build cross-functional relationships across the business.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner effectively within the business.
- Strong written and verbal communication; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem solving ability; solid IT skills with standard IT suites; strong team management skills.
- Experience in continuous improvement using analytical data and driving change.
- Working knowledge/experience of ISO standards such as 9001, 22716, Cosmetics GMP and FDA or equivalent regulatory requirements is desirable but not prerequisite.
